Claire Cooper is the Director of Partnerships and Programs at the Alliance for Business Leadership. Claire has worked in external affairs and programming for a number of civic, political, and non-profit organizations. Before joining ABL, she spent three years at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate as Director of Community Engagement, where she oversaw public programs, special projects, and external affairs. Before that, she was part of the founding staff of HubWeek, a civic collaboration and festival founded by Harvard University, MIT, Mass General Hospital, and The Boston Globe, serving as Director of External Affairs & Partnerships in 2015 and 2016. Claire also worked for Governor Deval Patrick during his second term in office, and again during his 2020 presidential campaign.

Claire has a Bachelor’s degree in Government & Legal Studies and Religion from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, and lives with her husband and rescue dog in Arlington.
