Tito Jackson

Chief Executive Officer at Verdant Medical, former Boston City Councilor

Tito is the chief executive of Verdant Medical, a Massachusetts medical and recreational cannabis company. Verdant Medical is a vertically integrated cannabis company that cultivates, manufactures, and retails medical and adult-use cannabis. Verdant is the only Black-owned medical operator in MA.

Prior to being elected to the Boston City Council, where he served from 2011 to 2018, Tito spent more than 15 years in sales, marketing, politics, and state government. Through that experience, he developed extensive knowledge of the healthcare and technology sectors. In 2007, he became the industry director for information technology in Governor Patrick’s Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development. Later, he became the political director of Governor Patrick’s successful reelection campaign in 2010.

Tito graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in history. He remains engaged within his community, and is an active leader in youth development programs such as Citizen Schools and Anytown/The Leadership Initiative and sits on the board of multiple organizations, including the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, the Global Citizens Circle, and the Boston Ballet.
